Hang tag: Good This is the 1999 Signature Bear Ty Beanie Baby, featuring a tan and cream bear with a red ribbon and an embroidered signature. The swing tag is in good condition, indicating it is a 4th generation tag. The tush tag is missing, which should be noted for collectors.
1999 Signature Bear is a Ty Beanie Baby bear introduced in 1999, Ty style number 4228, with an official Ty birthday of Jan 1, 1999. The earliest swing tag a 1999 release can legitimately carry is a 5th generation tag; later generations are normal on a beanie that stayed in production, while an earlier one means a swapped tag or a fake.
